Bleach 220-226 done!

January 6, 2010

Well, it’s taken some time, but episodes 220 through 226 are finally done! I promise that they were worth the wait (well, except the bits with Oomaeda >_>).

Bleach 220-226 SD (H.264/AAC, 704×396, 174MB each)

Bleach 220-226 HD (H.264/AAC, 1280×720, 347MB each)

As for the remaining episodes: As we’ve said before, not all members of our team are interested in subbing the current filler arc. Therefore, we’re going to be taking a break until the fillers end, and hopefully getting episodes out a little more promptly when that happens. See you then!

Bleach Movie 3: Fade to Black!

November 6, 2009

It’s done! omgomgomg.

Bleach Movie 3: Fade to Black (720×400, H264/AC3) 900MB

In addition to the English subtitles, we’ve also included a Japanese subtitle track. Hyperworm (translator) transcribed this from audio from scratch and apologizes in advance for any mistakes (though it should be pretty good).

We didn’t have an HD raw for this release, so it’s only SD. When we see a true HD raw (no upscales, please), we’ll do an HD release.

Happy downloading!

Movie and episode 220+ status

October 5, 2009

Summary of where we’re at with the 3rd movie: it’s translated, and since we’ve got a timer as of the other week, and a good-quality (DVD iso) raw, the process is moving along. :D We’re not doing an HD release yet at this point, because we only have an SD raw to work with – when there’s a Blu-Ray release of the movie or something, we’ll do an HD release. (Status update 11/06: release tomorrow! :D )

As for the next few Bleach episodes: we’ve got through the rest of this arc timed, so we’re either going to release that as one seven-episode batch, or (more likely) split it into two batches. The bottleneck on these is me right now unfortunately, I’ve got a pretty rough semester right now. >_< We are making progress now, though.

I’d make specific predictions for when we’ll have all this released, but I don’t want to jinx it. :x

Staff Required: Timer for Flomp-Fansubs

September 11, 2009

Yes, it’s another staff recruitment post, but this one really needs attention. We need a timer!

As you know, Flomp has fallen quite a long way behind in its subbing of Bleach. There have been a few reasons for this, but a large one has been the availability of timers. We’ve had 4 different timers since the beginning of the year. The two-month delay after episode 192 was because we had no timer at all for weeks, and we’ve been slowed down many other times by timers not delivering work when it’s needed. And now, once again, we find ourselves without a dedicated timer at all. It’s amazing that we’re still functioning. We’re a small group that gets very little outside help.

These delays cut down Flomp’s audience substantially (while many people are looking for an HD/HQ sub, just as many aren’t prepared to wait, especially not weeks or months), so a reliable timer joining us would really be appreciated, and would help make Flomp faster and more relevant.

What we really want is a timer that can deliver work every (non-filler) week when needed and not slow things up, but right this moment we’re struggling on the 7 episodes ahead of us. We actually have amateur timing for all of these already, but it needs fixing up. If anyone can even help us out with those 7 it’d be appreciated.

Also, the 3rd Bleach movie (Fade to Black) is coming out in a few weeks. Apparently it’s the best one so far. If you’d like a high-quality sub of that within a reasonable timeframe, then again, we will need a timer.

Please message an OP on IRC in #flomp-fansubs[rizon] or email pstatic@gmail.com (put “flomp” in the subject so I know what it’s about) if you think you can help. If we don’t find anyone suitable, things will unfortunately continue to move very slowly, and there are no guarantees on how long we will be able to keep this up, particularly once the arc restarts after fillers.

Bleach 215-219

August 1, 2009

We got these done just in time – one more day, and I would’ve been on vacation and the release would’ve taken a few more weeks D:

Anyway, what we have for you today is Bleach 215-219, in HD and SD as usual. One important change to note in this batch: We’ve added a Japanese font to the episodes. This makes them a few MB larger, but guarantees that the Japanese we use in our translator’s notes will render correctly.

Here are the torrents:

Bleach 215 – 219 SD (H.264+AAC, 704×396)

Bleach 215 – 219 HD (H.264+AAC, 1280×720)

Happy downloading!

Bleach 209-212

June 12, 2009

Well, they took a bit longer than we would have liked, but these ones are worth it. Bleach episodes 209-212 are out, in both HD and SD.

Bleach episode 209-212 SD (H264+AAC, 704×396)

Bleach episode 209-212 HD (H264+AAC, 1280×720)

Episodes 213 and 214 are random filler crap, so the next one we’ll be releasing is 215.

Bleach 206-208!

May 7, 2009

Woo it’s out! Next batch will be 209-212, which will conclude this arc.

Bleach episode 206-208 SD (H264+AAC, 704×396)

Bleach episode 206-208 HD (H264+AAC, 1280×720)

Bleach 201-203

April 16, 2009

Bleach episodes 201-203 are done, in HD and SD. Enjoy!

Just a heads-up, the next two episodes are filler (something about Rurichiyo again? Football? I dunno…), so we’ll be skipping those in an effort to catch up to the stuff that people actually want to watch more quickly. Next episode we’ll be releasing is 206.

Bleach episode 201-203 SD (H264+AAC, 704×396)

Bleach episode 201-203 HD (H264+AAC, 1280×720)

Bleach eps 197-200

March 26, 2009

Four more eps, for your viewing pleasure! And we’re going to hurry up with the next batch, because honestly, who doesn’t love watching Kenpachi. :D

Bleach 197-200 SD (704×396, H264, AAC)

Bleach 197-200 HD (1280×720, H264, AAC)

Also, if you’re looking for episodes 190-192, I’m seeding the ones that didn’t have seeds right now.

Bleach update

March 23, 2009

Episodes 197-200 are just about ready to release! If they’re not out by the end of this week, I’ll have to commit seppuku or something. D:

If you need something to watch in the meantime, though, we’ve got you covered. Lord_Demonico, our QC person, has put together a video of the fights between Ichigo and Renji – all in one file, without interruptions. If you’ve ever just wanted to watch the fights from Bleach, without all the extra stuff, now’s your chance. :)
