You are totally right, Ishida! Bleach is now their “flagship-project” and it would be seen as a sign of weakness if they drop it because of ‘fillers’. (btw your TOOL-comparision reminds me of the horrible edit of the 23-minute Pink Floyd song “Echoes” on the most recent Best-Of!)
What I think though, is that if you have the opportunity to finish something, no matter what that is, you should do it. And this is why I said they should finish Eureka SeveN now. I believe once this is done, their collective creative energies will be replenished (and ready to tackle Bleach again). Ever heard of the Zeigarnik Effect? It seems that having too many unfinished projects can lead to negative mental health.

I think Flomp should do one of the following, not sub the fillers, drop bleach, or disband the group. I watch Bleach, but I refuse to watch pointless retarded fillers. I see why they aren’t subbing them right now. But Flomp isn’t doing anything, they haven’t subbed episode 2 of xxxHOLiC Kei or finish Eureka Seven. They haven’t done much in the past 2 months. They look pretty dead to me. So Pablo what are you going to do? Let the people know.

So what if their fillers -I- happen to like them anyway and I can’t be the only one, all series have fillers thats no reason to drop a project. Plus how can we know for sure they are fillers, it would only be a filler if it does not tie into the main storyline at somepoint as long as they tie it in later we can’t call it a filler, and since no one here can go into the future there is no way to know if they tie in or not.

The fillers for Bleach are ok and should be subbed. Ishida has it right. That is a general part of fansubbing.If anything, finish the Eureka 7 and probably drop xxxHOLiC.

It’s time for an update.
1. We had the TL’s done till 177 unfortunately I did them on my tower and lost all that work… so I would have to re-TL them… and for a filler arc I can’t be bothered to do it. Besides my only motivation to sub Bleach was my gf and she hates the fillers so… well either way I will attempt to do them this week.
2. Eureka Seven is sitting on my backup drive waiting for a final QC, but since I didn’t have that much time I haven’t gone through it. (I plan to do that this weekend for the final 8 episodes)
3. The TL for xxxHolic Kei, said she needs to focus on school for her graduating class and university degree…. so she can’t TL… and asked me to finish up. If I get a chance I will do it.
No, we are not dead, just I had other things to deal with, aka Job-hunting, gf, my final class for masters, partying for my birthday, summer vacation, and doing an insane amount of work for Rumbel and the other groups I am in.

if you can hook up your computer to a big TV monitor supporting 1024×768 resolution, DB bleach looks perfect on it. especially if your TV has picture enhancing built-in. my RCA SD-TV (thats standard definition) does the job great.
dont get me wrong. when flomp lets out another ep, already seen or not, i still watch it so it will look nice on my laptop LCD (the best looking flat monitors, PSP’s LCD for example).
i agree with ishida wraith (scroll up, he is someone who posted) all the way. but i figured the ones crying “filler” were just manga tards. sorry, but your manga doesnt have swords clashing together, therefore, is NOT cool enough for me.

As I said all the time: If you say you’re not doing the filler arc and returning for the real show, that’s fine. DB should be good enough for fillers, I usually delete or even skip fillers anyways. Just please don’t have the project die the way Bleach-Society died: loosing all the motivation on a pointless arc. Please keep track of Bleach and return if/when its style returns once again.
Either way, it’d be cool to inform us on your final decision, so in case you don’t do them, we can commit blasphemy and get the DB sub for the time being. I care way more about you staying motivated to sub good stuff than forcing yourself to deliver episodes for everyones recycle bin.

Also, even though you’d expect BD to have some encoding experience, they are…hmmm no offence but…well they suck at that
So DB uses the worst but most compatible format (avi), when it comes to playback, conversion to DVD format and conversion to live stream and they are motivated to deliver every week on time, honestly i don’t think a bunch of complaining brats in front of their computers who barely like anime are enough motivation for that kind of punctuallity
or DB just likes their shows (is better than flomp, ha!) and i am just going crazy

Well, that is possibility No. 1. I thought about that, too. Another one would be: cookies deleted –> blog searches for cookie, but it isn’t there; so blog thinks different commenter, thus the different pic.
The third and final possibility I can think of would be some sort of whois-IP-check (regarding the geographical location of the commenter). But I don’t think there is such a plugin for WordPress and it wouldn’t work anyway because there could be several commenters from the exact same region. So I think maybe Ishida simply deleted his cookies at some point.
I hope what I just wrote makes sense because I really need some sleep now…

I still think Flomp is a group of people not very different from the usual internet anime horde that only wants to pass the time.
My conspiracy comment (if anyone understood it), was all about why DB (Dattebayo fansub group not Dragon Ball haha ! ) is so commited, do they simply like the series they do or do they do the series because of other “distribution” methods. Every group says they work for no money, that’s just a tagline
ADC-Elites did One Piece for some time.
ADC-Distro shamelessly exploits anime by gathering many titles on a server and charges “donations” to grand access. Non-profitable my ass, how stupid do they think we are. (ever wandered why all those sites that desperately ask for donations at the end of the month, are still up the month after even though noone donated)
Do you see a connection between the two ADC ?
Now, i haven’t seen DB do a single thing to stop Naruto and Bleach from being used on stream sites, “distro” servers, hentaikey, bootleg DVDs etc. And don’t forget Naruto and Bleach are the most popular shows of the kind.
Yet they panctually do ( by do i mean translate) the shows and use the ever so convenient avi format.
DB is not the name of some Distro site as well, but after seeing their work on a shit load of commercial outlets, I thought come on, what the fuck

they took over Naruto when it was dropped from previous group DUE TO LICENCE
they translate the best shows and they managed to limit their audience to the dumbest anime fans on earth
they are so low that they feel nice only by making fun of the dumbest anime fans on earth
their translators are smart enough to work with the worst encoders on earth
check for naruto softsubs on isohunt, they are the only group so bad that people steal (via OCR) their subtitles to use with raws and release them on torrents

Ishida Wraith, your point about how DB is not making an effort to stop various sites is completely wrong and baseless. Youtomb is a public site tracked by MIT that keeps a log of what videos get deleted off youtube although they do not keep a complete log.
Gawker.com has reported it a few months ago but I believe the article has been deleted. I don’t appreciate the fact that people claim so many stuffs with no proper backup proofs.
