Recruiting Staff

Hello everyone! We are currently looking for more staff to join the Flomp team. As you know, the only project we are working on weekly is bleach, but if we have more staff, we can sub more high quality anime for everyone! So if you are interested come and talk to us on IRC or drop us an email. All positions are available such as:

  • Translator
  • Translation Checker
  • Timer
  • Typesetter
  • Quality Checker
  • Karaoker
  • any other position you think might be a benefit to Flomp

You can apply via IRC (message exo` or p-static) or email (the preferred way). You can also leave a comment with your email address. Experience is necessary and you must be ready to take a test or give us a sample of work you’ve done.

    I’d like to know more about the position Quality Checker since I want to know what the position means so that I wont apply for anything I’m not capable of.

    Daniel: The quality checker goes over the script right before we release, to check it for consistency, general flow, and that sort of thing. Basically, it’s somebody who can find mistakes in any part of the subbing process, and correct them, or at least point them out.

    Does the Karaoker need to know japanese or will they get a script of the jap?

    The karaoker doesn’t need to know Japanese, the main thing is being able to have a good singing voice.

    …nah, I’m just kidding. ^_^ The main thing is being able to make good-looking karaokes.

    i would be interested in either an editing or a QC position and was wondering if you could inform me of the qualifications for those positions.
